 | Hello, Fr. Elmer. Belated happy Birthday... I had no means to greet you on your birthday because I was stranded in the mountains of San Jose, Tarlac during the storm. It was a blessing that the monks of the Monasterio de Tarlac provided us shelter from the storm... I remembered you nga while there... Remember how we got lost going there when we followed the tricycle with the Aglipayan priest? Hahaha. Anyway, kahit late man, please rest assured that you were not forgotten. I pray that this year will be full of God's wonderful surprises and blessings for you in your priestly life and mission. I have to agree with Tita Alma about being a faithful missionary... Fear not and move on... We miss you all in the Yobel class! |

Happy Birthday Father. Hope you are fine and healthy and enjoying your new found country. I did enjoy Sydney when I was there so I do not see why you could not love it as well. We all miss you here and slowly we seem to be losing most of you to foreign countries. Yobel Class is surely going places but we are happy that all of you have easily adapted to new cultures. We expected you will anyway- that's no surprise. Meanwhile there's nothing we can do but pray for all of you and we look forward to your being home soon for your furlough so we can renew our get together. Keep it up and continue to be a faithful missionary. May you have an enjoyable birthday celebration inspite of your being away from your love ones. Love-Tita Alma |

| Hello Fr Elmer. I have been very busy lately ngayon lang ulit ako nakapag-on-line... I am glad to see you are adjusting well in your new environment... I was at your class' thanksgiving anniversary mass last Feb 3 with Frs. Ferdz, Arvin, Jun and Sam. Was also at Dakit class' ordination last Feb 9 in Tagaytay. On occasions like these, we remember you all, we miss you and we pray for you. Ingat po lagi. |
